The Blue Cross is a Health Development Organization of professionals dedicated to assisting people who suffer from dependence on psychoactive substances. At the International Federation of the Blue Cross, we are constantly developing our activities and are committed to providing you with the most recent news from our work around the world.
International Substance Abuse and Addiction Coalition ISAAC
International Substance Abuse and Addiction Coalition ISAAC is an international network of Christians responding to the escalating problem of substance misuse and addiction.
The network consists of over 350 members in nearly 70 countries.
Eurocare (European Alcohol Policy Alliance) was formed in 1990, as an alliance of voluntary and non-governmental organizations representing a diversity of views and cultural attitudes concerned with the impact of the European Union on Alcohol Policy in Member States.
Starting with 9 member organisations in 1990, it now includes some 50 organisations across 22 countries in Europe, most of which are national or supranational umbrella organisations.
Member organisations are involved in research and advocacy; education and training of voluntary and professional community care workers; the provision of counselling services and residential support for problem drinkers, of workplace and school based programmes as well as the provision of information to the public.
Eurocare is the only major European network that focuses exclusively on alcohol policy issues.
